Proud Pitcher

£68.00

Standing proud, this clean blue and white hand built ceramic form is not only an unique addition to your collection, but a stylish pitcher in which to hold, pour and enjoy your drinks.

I took TouP’s signature style and explored different ways of expanding on the form – the signature style with its unique rounded squared base and circular opening can been see with the Ooo cup and the Urchin’s Freedom cup.

One of my favourite artists is Swiss artist Albert Giacometti, his exaggerated, elongated sculptures inspired me to take the signature style form longer, whilst also ensuring that the design was highly functional and be able to hold a respectable amount of liquid.

I also combined these influences with a side handle, a style that was adapted and inspired by the yokode kyusu teapots which originated in Japan and are ofter referred to as just kyusu teapots (the general term for Japanese teapots).

The side handle enables one to tip and pour the pitcher while holding the lid on top. .

Add the Proud Pitcher to your collection today, and enjoy an exceptionally stylish way to have a delightfully refreshing drink.

The Batter Bowl

My favourite treat to make at Easter are tasty chocolate nests. The melted chocolate and sticky sweet syrup all melted together and poured over the shredded wheat is heaven, and transports me back to lovely childhood memories.

The Lovely Bowl (small) is now available in gorgeous ocean blue (makes me wanna dive in!)

I wanted to create a bowl for smaller bites, whilst still having enough depth to enjoy a fi Drinking a lovely hot beverage, is such a wonderful part of the day, especially when accompanied by a cheeky chocolate biscuit or three.

I handcrafted this Ooo cup using speckled stoneware clay. I used a more subtle speckle, and really like the deli The Perfect Plant Pot

Growing up, my mother was the green fingered one of the family.
She had this amazing knack of bringing plants back to life or helping them to flourish and thrive.

I would always think of her as I laid another plant to rest tha She's back!

For its size, the Maltese Moon vase packs in beautiful, unique and elegant elements that I love to showcase.

The ancient hand building technique of pinching is used to create the body of the form.
