The beautiful, hand built contemporary plate is made from elegant speckled stoneware clay. The technique used is slab building, which allows me the pleasure of crafting each and every piece by hand. ’The Ooo Cup’
The Ooo Cups carry the signature TouP Ceramics style with the unique pointed square base which merges into a circular opening. The cups are hand built from rolled slabs and the unique style carry’s over to the circular handle. ’Maltese Moon Vase’
The perfect curve of the closed form‘Maltese Moon Vase’ makes this piece a stylish and eye-catching addition to help you achieve your home decor style. The two distinct looks are created by pinching clay which is an ancient hand-building technique. One of my favourite ways of using it is for those casual dinners, curled up on the sofa with the steaming content piled high, safe in the knowledge that i’m not going to spill what’s inside. I love the idea of making things that can elevate the regular activities of a day, into something special, intentional and fun! When I make the pouring jugs I recall a memory; a colleague was leaving and we had an impromptu tea ceremony, with delicate cups and saucers, mini pouring jugs and posh macaron - I called it a ‘moment’ and it was ever-so lovely. POURING BOWLS
’The Pouring Bowl’
Chocolate rice crispy cakes are my favourite quick treat to make. I melt dark chocolate into The Pouring Bowl add a touch of cinnamon and pour the mixture over the crispy crackles and dust with edible glitter and gleefully transport myself back to my childhood.
